A few words about me

Hi, I'm Muriel!

An architect by training, I'm now a designer and maker: I imagine and build objects and decors with funny shapes and pop colours, beautiful, functional and fun all at once. Everything is made by me, in Lyon.

I've always seen the world in colour. My mother is an architect, and I grew up in a house full of colour. So growing up, I never understood why, once you're an adult, you had to go without it and give up the joyful objects that make you smile. Nothing saddens me as much as a white wall and a grey piece of furniture.

I created Macadam Style to share this love of colours, shapes and light. Its world unfolds on several scales, from the small object to spatial design, by way of furniture and decor. Little by little, I'd like to add a bit of fun to the world! That's the whole project :)

I also pay close attention to the footprint of what I make. I always try to use as little material as possible and to keep its carbon impact low.
